Green Lantern: Nathan Fillion Finally Wins the Green Lantern Role

Despite Fillion's similarity to the character of Hal Jordan, the actor lost out on the live-action role, but Warner Bros. has found an alternative for Fillion: voicing the character in an upcoming animated Green Lantern movie.

TVGuide reports that Fillion will voice the character in Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, arriving on DVD June 7 from Warner Bros. Animation. In the movie, Hal Jordan mentors Arisia, a new recruit to the Green Lantern Corps., voiced by Elisabeth Moss (Get Him to the Greek, Mad Men).
